The Bosch RL Series Water Source Heat Pump is innovative and reliable, with a precisely engineered design. Made from durable galvanized steel, It features 1/2” thick, 1.5 lb./cu.ft. density Micromat insulation for excellent thermal and noise insulation. Quiet operation is ensured by a floating base and rubber grommet-mounted compressors. The RL Series also offers easy serviceability with a swinging electrical box for internal access and vertical units with an improved air coil and slide-out blower for simplified maintenance. Equipped with R-454B refrigerant, the RL Series meets the criteria for a lower global warming potential A2L refrigerant.

Serviceability

The RL series is easier to service than previous Bosch WSHP models. A swinging electrical box allows easy access to the compressor and internal components. Vertical units offer improved air coil serviceability and a slide-out blower for effortless maintenance.

Quiet Operation

Noise reduction is key in the RL series design. A unique floating base compressor is mounted on a steel plate with high-density rubber isolation pads and rubber grommets. This double isolation prevents vibration and noise transmission from the compressor to the unit structure.

Cabinet

The RL series is made from galvanized steel for superior indoor corrosion protection. Interior surfaces feature 1/2” thick Micromat insulation for thermal and acoustic benefits. This non-combustible, non-hygroscopic insulation resists fungal growth.

Environmentally Friendly

These highly efficient units play their part in reducing carbon dioxide emissions, a leading cause of global warming. Equipped with R-454B refrigerant, the RL Series meets the criteria for a lower global warming potential A2L refrigerant.

A Standard Duo-Guard Air Coil

B Air Coil Serviceability: Improved design allows for easier replacement from the front of the unit

C NEW Slide Out Blower: Easy serviceability of the blower, and improved access to entire refrigerant circuit

D Filter Drier: Standard in all configurations of RL units

E Fully Insulated Refrigerant Lines: Refrigerant lines will be wrapped in insulation, including the water coil

F NEW Swing Out Electrical Box: Electrical box will swing out of the way allowing for improved access and easier servicing of the unit

G NEW Divided Electrical Box: Will have a separate designated compartment for high and low voltage components, keeping service technicians safer

H Gauge Pass Through: Allows refrigerant gauges and temperature probes to be connected to the unit while allowing for standard unit operation

Unit Configurations

All units are available in vertical and horizontal configurations. Additionally, options are available for left or right return air and copper or cupronickel water coils, providing configuration flexibility.

Permanent Split Capacitor Motors (PSC)

The standard motor for all RL series heat pumps is a PSC. This motor utilizes the latest stator technology at a low cost.

Refrigerant Circuit

RL series units are designed using the optimum combination of compressor, water and air coils to provide peak performance.
