IDS Edge is a compact, side-discharge outdoor unit built for a wide range of residential installs. Available in Edge and Edge Max configurations, it delivers efficient, dependable heating and cooling, with Max models providing cold-climate performance down to -22°F and maintaining 100% capacity at 5°F.

IDS Edge pairs easily with IDS air handlers, BMAC cased coils, and BGH97 furnaces. For multi-zone applications, it supports compatible ducted and ductless indoor options, giving you the flexibility to design the system around the home. With inverterdriven operation, a compact footprint, and R-454B refrigerant, IDS Edge is a future-ready solution for retrofit or new construction.

Bosch IDS Edge and Edge Max are engineered to simplify installation in the field, supporting a wide range of residential system layouts. The system works with standard 24V thermostats and pairs with a variety of indoor options. Whether replacing an existing system or installing new, IDS delivers flexibility without added complexity.

Bosch IDS Edge & Edge Max systems are designed to pair with a wide range of indoor solutions, including air handlers, dual-fuel furnaces, ducted units, wall-mounted units, and 4-way cassettes. This flexible pairing approach allows contractors to design systems that fit the home, the application, and the installation, all while delivering consistent comfort & reliable performance.
