In the colder months, the system senses when it is more economical for the heat pump to shut off and the Bosch BGH97 gas furnace to take over. Installing a Bosch matched dual fuel system helps to optimize both savings and comfort.

Residential Limited Warranty**

With the residential limited warranty, you receive peace of mind knowing your furnace is protected with up to 5 years of parts coverage (or up to 10 years with proper registration) and up to 20 years (lifetime) coverage on the primary and secondary heat exchangers. This warranty applies to all components incorporated into the BGH97 Furnace at the time of manufacture. Any additional components or parts purchased from Bosch and installed in the field are covered by a 1-year parts warranty.

Cased Evaporator Coil

Bosch cased evaporator coils are designed for quiet operation, durability, and easy installation. Foil-back insulation helps reduce energy loss through the cabinet while minimizing sound. The all-aluminum fin and tube construction resists formicary corrosion and maintains efficient heat transfer for long-term reliability and cost savings.

Bosch offers a full range of cased coil models from 2 to 5 tons, available in upflow, downflow, and horizontal configurations to fit a wide variety of duct sizes and applications. A simple slide-out design supports both retrofit and new construction installations. Bosch R454B cased coils also feature a factory-installed A2L sensor that provides added safety in the event of a refrigerant leak and can be directly connected to the BGH furnace for seamless integration.
