SPRING YOUTH SOCCER SPRING YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUES A great way to involve your child in the sport while learning the importance of teamwork. Children will participate in games with emphasis on FUN, participation & learning the rules of soccer. Games will be played on a reduced size field & goals for participants ages 5-7. The 8-10 age group will play on a U10 size field. Shin guards are required for safety. All players receive a jersey. SPRING SOCCER SQUIRTS Designed to teach children the basics of soccer. Dribbling, passing, shooting & listening skills will be covered through exciting games that keep everyone involved. Participants must wear shin guards & will receive a t-shirt. There is no parent pick up for soccer squirts. Please show up 15 minutes prior to start of first class. Volunteer coaches are needed. SUNDSTRAND PARK SHELTER RENTALS: All Day Rentals Only $100 (9 AM - 9 PM) North: Capacity 100 • South: Capacity 150 • West: Capacity 250 - Sundstrand Park, 2288 Newburg Road, Belvidere A sports facility within a park located on 90 acres of land south of the Boone County Fairgrounds. This innovative park provides a wide variety of amenities for families, community groups, seniors & sports teams of all ages & interests. Prairie Fields welcomes adults & children to participate in their favorite outdoor activities within a beautiful park setting.
PRAIRIE FIELDS FIELD RENTALS The Prairie Fields Sports Park houses four full-size & one U10 soccer fields, one junior football field (no goal posts), one baseball & one softball field to rent for your team or organization. There are also two practice soccer fields available to the public. Field reservations can be made at the Rivers Edge Rec Center, 1151 W. Locust St., Belvidere. Fields are reserved on a first come-first paid basis.
