1926 - 2016 George Edwin Prusia passed away Friday, January 8th, 2016. He was born in May of 1926, married Carol Ann Stubinger in 1947 in Chicago, IL. George was a tool & die maker by trade and retired as co-owner of P&G Upholstery in Bensenville, IL. He served in World War II in the United States Navy and was Commander/Quarter Master for the VFW & American Legion in Bensenville in the 1980s. He is survived by his 5 children - George (Debbie) Prusia, Jo (Donald) Morris, Nancylee (Roland) Smelter, Christine Meredith, Melody (Carl) Perri Wallace, 14 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. 65 descendants! He is predeceased by his wife Carol and his sister, Betty Smith and his son in law, Donald Morris. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Memorial park, 900 N. Wolf Road, Northlake, IL at Noon on Friday, January 22nd. Memorial luncheon from 3-6 PM at Rivers Edge Recreation Center, 1151 Locust St., Belvidere.
