Czech Museum, chapel, jail, store, log school and log house "Chalupa" are all part of Vancura Park and are open for public inspection. Homemade noodles and old world Czech music tapes are available for sale in the store during Czech Days. The new Heritage Museum welcomes visitors to many new exhibits.

Peter delivers a very patriotic, emotional, and uplifting account of the true American Dream.
Open Friday and Saturday, 10am - 6pm. Czech recipe books, Czech gifts and CD's and cassette tapes, clothing items, imported Czech items and other souvenirs are offered for sale. On Main Street in the Community/Senior Citizens Center.
The Kiddie Parade starts at 11:00am on Saturday, June 17, 2017. It starts east of St. Wenceslaus Church and ends at Sokol Park. Activities after the parade include clowns, exotic animals, gymnatics, kiddie parade winners, Prince and Princess selection.
C & D Pedal Pullers of Burke, SD with Chad Stevicks as operator. The pull will be for boys and girls ages four (4) to eleven (11). The pull will take place on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. on the street south of Sokol Park.

Bands will be performing in Sokol Park throughout the weekend and during the Coronation Ball in Beseda Hall Saturday night.
The craft fair is located in the Tabor Elementary School gym and cafeteria located north of St. Wenceslaus Church. It is open Thursday 6:30pm-8:00pm and Friday and Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm.
MERRIAM’S MIDWAY SHOWS from San Antonio, Texas is the CARNIVAL for the third year on Tabor’s main street. They will be operating Thursday evening, all day Friday and Saturday. The carnival will be selling wrist bands for use on Thursday along with advance sale tickets and regular sale tickets.
Jeff Rueb of Tyndall will have a herd of 6 to 8 exotic animals in Sokol Park after the kiddie parade.
Unique handmade items of the late Emil Blachnik are on display adjacent to Vancura Park on the east side across the alley.
Friday at 3:00 pm demonstrated by Ann Beran and Saturday at 1:00 pm demonstrated by Abby Kokesh in the Gift and Information Center Kitchen (Community Center).
The contest will take place on Friday from 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Sokol Park with the Nase Mala Kapela providing the music. Contestants can register at 5:45pm at Sokol Park. There will be six age groups: (1) 6 and under, (2) 7-13, (3) 14-20, (4) 21-30*, (5) 31-49*, (6) 50 and up*. *Groups 4, 5, and 6 will also be competing with a waltz. Group contestants will be determined by the age of the oldest member of each couple. Czech dress is not required to enter the contest. Prizes will be given to the top couple in each age group.
Saturday morning 8:00 a.m. Women, men, young and not so young, prizes and snacks. Registration 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. at Leonard Cimpl Baseball Park. All ages invited to participate. Saturday Only, June 17 at 2 pm, the Czech Heritage Preservation Society will be sponsoring a performance in the buildings of the mini Bohemian village in Vancura Memorial Park. Five pioneer residents of the Tabor area will be highlighted. Charles F. Blachnik, Frank Fejfar, Jerry Jarolim, Lou Koupal, and Catherine Mudloff are the honored pioneers. Admission is $5 per person.
Kolaches are for sale by the dozen in the Beseda Hall Friday and Saturday Only. They run out each day so get there early or you may miss out on your favorite flavor.
RUNAWAY SAWS-Chain Saw Carvings. Jeff Klatt will carve four sculptures on Friday and four sculptures on Saturday. He will be working his magic north of the Information Center. His carvings will be auctioned off at the end of each day at 6 pm at the carving site.
