HESKETH HOUSE NEWSLETTER 6 OCTOBER 2023
A note from the Head…
Black History Month Poster Competition
Thank you to all of the girls who have volunteered to come in to School tomorrow to help us with our Open Morning. We look forward to welcoming visitors to Hesketh House and they really enjoy meeting current pupils as well as staff. Our girls are excellent representatives of Bolton School and we always get very positive feedback from our guests; I am sure this year will be the same.
Congratulations to everyone who entered this competition, organised by the Bolton Black History Group. All of their work was enlarged and displayed at Bolton Central Library on Saturday and some of the girls went along with their families to see it. The girls were all awarded a special mug and we were delighted to hear that Hesketh House pupils were also given the top 3 places in the competition, receiving a gift voucher. Well done! 1st place Amaia Onuoha nd 2 place Maya Patel 3rd place Hurrem Subhani

A small group of girls from Year 6 joined pupils from approximately 60 primary schools, for a morning of fun challenges in the Girls’ Division Great Hall. They had to design a space craft lander, complete mathematical puzzles and build a tower from straws. The girls really enjoyed the sessions, performing well and working effectively as a team.
