THE RICHARD R. DOSTIE ’72 FAMILY ENDOWED FUND AWARD FOR TEACHER DEVELOPMENT
Established in 2002 by Richard R. Dostie ’72 and his family, this endowed fund provides professional development for teachers to attend a workshop, educational conference or symposium that will benefit the students of The Bolles School.
The Dostie Fund for Endowed Teacher Development helped fund the attendance of US teachers Pauline Bauman, Carrie Ezzell, & Abby Sander in the Southern Association of Independent Schools Leadership Institute held in Sarasota, Florida last summer.

THE AURELIAN HONOR SOCIETY BOOK AWARD — Founded at Yale University
in 1910, the society’s name is taken from Marcus Aurelius, Emperor of Rome and philosopher, whose meditations form the basis of their constitution. This award was established twenty years ago to honor someone who has demonstrated forceful leadership, high scholarship and sound character. Sarah Chaeyoon Park ’25
The Upper School San Jose Campus Awards Day presentation was held May 20 in the Davis Gym. The event honored upper school students who have achieved distinction in academics, athletics, activities, leadership and service to others during the 2023-24 school year.
HARVARD CLUB BOOK AWARD —
The First Coast Harvard Club sponsors a Harvard Book award. This award is presented to an outstanding junior student who consistently demonstrates broad excellence and very high character with strong achievements in extracurricular areas. Natural leadership, bravery, innate curiosity, empathy and being a good friend are important attributes. Eesh Vikas Majithia ’25
SMITH COLLEGE BOOK AWARD —
Given in memory of Sophia Smith, the first woman founder of a women’s college in the United States. Smith College is located in Northampton, Massachusetts, and is the largest women’s liberal arts college in the country. This award goes to an outstanding junior woman who exemplifies the academic achievement and leadership qualities that characterize the thousands of women who have graduated from Smith College during the past 100 years. recognizes high school juniors who embody Tulane’s motto of “Not for one’s self, but for one’s own” and have demonstrated

high school junior who has excelled in scholarship, been actively involved in leadership and service and has demonstrated high personal and academic character. JEFFERSON SCHOLAR AWARD FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA
— Given annually to the member of the junior class who is representative of the Renaissance man or woman as exemplified by Thomas Jefferson.
