Many of the consignors are diligently collecting samples as of press time to have submitted and tests should be conclusive by sale time. Some of the lots that are labelled as potential carriers will not be tested or results may not be back in time as each breeder has the knowledge and their own strategy to breed around these issues (which is basically using common sense). 24 years into writing these forwards and I know, I know it’s always pretty flowery and rah rah, but there just aren’t enough good adjectives to capture how much positive energy is cursing through the veins of cattlemen everywhere and absolutely rocking this industry.
