We continue to be committed to producing Limousin and LimFlex cattle of the highest quality both in the flesh and on paper. We strive to create a balanced animal that work for purebred and commercial breeders.

As a fourth generation family who own and operate our program, we do all the daily work. By being majorly hands on in our operation, it allows us to evaluate our program and work at making changes that benefit how we manage our land, put up feed and to produce a more reliable and efficient animal for our customer.

The herdsire prospects are a consistent group in their type and kind, yet we are offering more variety in color and % than ever before. The first L7 Kingpin 2001K progeny will provide the black purebred bulls. The B-Bar Rainmaker 4K’s make up the red purebred sections with a few LimFlex. The red LimFlex is our strongest group to date, with other sires being B-Bar Carhartt 71H, Red Six Mile John Wick 882E and Red Six Mile Cold Open 82K. The black LimFlex is led by Merit Ranch Water 1067J and B-Bar Blackout 202J.

We have made the decision to offer up all the partnership heifer calves this year instead of the pick on them. The eleven heifer calves are an exciting group who are diverse in pedigree and high in quality. These heifers are off some of the first partnership cows we had to our most current partnership cows. Over the last fourteen years we have enjoyed many successes in the showring with heifer calves and breds and we feel many of these eleven heifers this year could compete in the showring, but most importantly they are bred to be productive cows.

There are a smaller offering of bred females this year, but four who are designed to be sound and functional cows. We bred them to the reliable and proven Hunt Credentials 37C ET and a new walking sire that we think has a bright future, Clarks Lawyer, to help give the buyer a quick ROI.

Our frozen genetics provides something for everyone, whether you want black or red, heifer bull or performance bull, new and fresh or older and proven. Carhartt, Serratelli, Kingpin and Lawyer all have an abundance to add to any breeding program and they have certainly seen a lot of success within our own breeding program.

We provide a lot of information and data to aid in your selection process. Use what is useful to you and what you prefer. If you have any questions, concerns or comments please contact ourselves or any of our trusted sales staff. We want to make sure you end up with the right animal or genetic package for your program. Our sales staff are very knowledgeable with our program and sale offering and we urge you to contact them if you have any questions.

We hope to see you Tuesday, December 16th at the Farm for our Ninth Annual Bull & Female Sale!

Terms and Conditions

Cattle will sell according to the Terms and Conditions of the Canadian Limousin Association

The status quo is never an option for the Boon family of B Bar Cattle. They always make choices in their breeding program to improve their already impressive herd and ultimately meet their new and repeat customers’ selection criteria.

As we reflect on the 2025 cattle industy, market conditions are extremely rewarding and the future is most promising. Time is optimum to improve your base herd and increase your ROI with premium genetics.

The black bull lineup is lead off with Kingpin sons that show tremendous opportunity. The bulls in this sale offering will pass the most discerning cattleman’s eye, and provide options for every producer’s needs, whether black, red, or LimFlex influence.

The track record for B Bar Females is second to none, and here is an opportunity to put one or more into your own program.

The Bohrson Marketing Team works closely with the Boon family throughout the year. This 9th Annual Bull & Female Sale is the most balanced and deepest genetic offering to date. Please reach out to one of our staff and we would be pleased to discuss your many opportunities in this event.

Best regards,

The Bohrson Marketing Team

It’s a privilege to once again be part of the B-Bar Cattle Bull & Female Sale as the Boon family hosts their 9th annual event in Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan. Few programs in North America have mastered the balance of elite phenotype and practical performance like B-Bar. Their continued focus on combining leading U.S. and Canadian genetics has built a cow herd that is as functional as it is eye-appealing.

Since Delaney first invested in Limousin cattle back in 1982, the Boon family has approached the breed with purpose, integrity, and a long-term vision. Their involvement in breed associations and industry leadership has shaped a program known for consistency, progress, and results.

The cattle offered this year speak for themselves— powerful, proven, and ready to make a difference in both seedstock and commercial operations alike. Whether you’re searching for herd sires with performance and structure, or females that blend maternal value with look and longevity, this offering represents the kind of genetics that drive the breed forward.

We invite you to join us Tuesday, December 16th at the farm in Lucky Lake. If you’re unable to attend in person, please don’t hesitate to reach out—our team would be glad to assist with your selections confidentially and professionally.

We’re proud to work alongside the Boon family and continue supporting one of the most respected Limousin programs in North America.

Warm regards, Kiley McKinna

A real beef bull that is ripped with muscle and thickness. He comes to you complete with extra length and a sound set of feet and legs. He excels on a numerical standpoint in the top 20% or better within 10 of the 11 growth and maternal traits. That projected data gets backed up with a BW of 79lbs at a 280-day gestation and a WW ratio of 101. His dam is one of our most consistent and predictable producing cows with a weaning ratio of 103 on 8 progeny. She has put sons into progressive programs such as, Canadian Sires, Journeys End Ranch, Lazy A Limousin and Hawkeye Land & Cattle.

IVY’S BUBBA WATSON HTZ24B

The kind of bull real cattlemen want! Night Owl 14N is an absolute stud with overwhelming thickness, substance and ripped with muscle. His dam was born in the middle of nowhere Alberta (aka Youngstown), and is living her best life in Lucky Lake after we purchased her from the wellestablished, commercially oriented Andrew Ranches program in the 2019 Western Select Sale. Nachelos’ dam is a robust, heavy milking, easy going cow. She is the defining female who produced our ‘Andy’ cow family that continues to grow within our herd. Take a second look at Nachelo 8N.

Kingmaker 65N has been an absolute stud since an early age. A personal favourite of Terra’s and gets found by anyone that tours through. For a bull that is so massive in his muscle shape and huge topped he is very athletic and free moving. He is docile, heavy haired and gives a big-time herd bull look. His 3-yearold dam is knocking it out of the park in production in her first 2 calves with a ww ratio of 108. She is a bold ribbed, stout featured cow with an udder that is hard to fault. He comes from a flush that has stood out this summer in both the bull and heifer pen. The third flushmate sister ended up being the ‘Pick of the 2025 Rainmaker’s’ who was sold in the FarmFair 50th Anniversary Sale to Canadian Sires + Donors. Four Guns 26N stands on a strong foot and is square on all four corners and moves out with ease. His dam, Foxtrot 53F, is a powerful, robust female with great milk flow and structural soundness. I was keen to use the Merit Ranch Water 1067J bull in our AI program as I remember him and his dam when I judged them at FarmFair as a pair and used them for Reserve Champion Female. A bull that should sire a set of heavy steers or impressive replacement females

Since 2017 Maureen Tubman of Show Champions, has joined us at our Annual Sale and provided quality memories. We appreciate Maureen for her eye in capturing our passion for this industry.

Show prospect female alert!

Check her off your Christmas Wish List as French Maid 37N has been a consistent standout over the months since she was born. A heifer that everyone finds when touring expresses appreciation for her mass and overall style. She would make a competitive show female with her overall structure, power, and depth of rib all tying into an attractive package with good hair. French Maid 37Ns’ true worth will be in production and a heifer we think could go on to be a donor cow. Her dam is a powerhouse female and always cranks out one of the best calves no matter how she is mated with a WW index of 104 on her 5 natural calves. French Maid 37N has a big future ahead of her!

B – Bar ACF Foxtrot 24N ET is sure to have many friends on sale day, just like her full sister last year who went to Wilder Limousin in Texas. She shows tremendous breed character with her muscle mass and body shape, yet she keeps it all in an eye-catching and sound package. I love how this heifer holds herself when she moves, her front end comes high out of her shoulder, she holds her top level and hip square. Foxtrot 24Ns’ dam is one of our favourite young females who is so elegant and beautiful in her design with a sound structured udder and an impressive production record. Mark this heifer in your book if you are looking for a future donor prospect!

This lady has cow power written all over her. The flush between Rainmaker 4K and Foxtrot 68H produced 2 bulls and 3 heifers. In the FarmFair 50th Anniversary Sale, Canadian Sires + Donors selected one of the heifers this fall after purchasing the ‘Pick of the B-Bar Rainmaker 4K Progeny’ for $14,500! We find it rewarding to see a 2-year-old do this kind of job. Karisma 56N is an absolute sweetheart and would make a great junior project with her easy-going attitude, great hair and tremendous phenotype. She is elegant in her front one third and transitions into a bold, sweeping rib with a square, stout hip. Karisma 56Ns’ dam was a favourite in our sale last year and was the second high selling bred to Limo enthusiasts and investors Dale & Barb O’Dwyer. When her dam is milking, we’ve admired the udder quality as it is ideal in teat size, spacing and volume. Do your homework here and see the value that Karisma 56N has to offer!

She is beautifully extended, strong topped, bold in her shape and moves with flexibility on a big foot. Her dam, Sammy 35J, deserves to be flushed because of her overall phenotype and tremendous production record. On her first three progeny she has an average WW ratio of 106. This heifer grabs your attention with her beautiful outline. Flirt 62N has a show ring look when she gets stopped and set up; attractive and refined in her front one third that transitions seamlessly into a deep rib and square hip. FOXTROT 100J

A female who is an absolute sweetheart that Liam has nicknamed “Ushi”. She gets noticed by everyone who tours through and rightfully so! She is tremendously long, bold in her rib shape, great in her hind leg structure and elegant in her front end. The mating between Fugitive and 105C is no fluke as the full sister to 17M was the high selling lot and first pick of the partnership heifer calves last year to Crown Hill Acres and Venture Livestock. 17M’s Full Sister went on and had a successful fall show career and capped off the season by being awarded CLA Show Female of the Year. The mating to Clarks Lawyer promises to compliment Urban Girl 17M.

Bred to Clarks Lawyer :: Due January 21, 2026 (Vets opinion safe)

Here is one that gives you a great look in a hairy, deep bodied, square hipped package. Her dam Cristy 23C won Agribition in 2017 as a two-year old. Her granddam Zena was campaigned successfully in 2018 being the Champion Female at Stockade Round-Up and Reserve Champion Female at Farm Fair and Agribition. Cristy 82M is bred to the homozygous polled Clarks Laywer for a mid-February calf.

Bred to Clarks Lawyer :: Due Mid-February, 2026 (Vets opinion safe)

Andy 46M is a well balanced, sound structured female with a strong maternal look and ideal teat placement. The combination of big powerful maternal cows in her pedigree and impressive EPD’s will allow for a lot of versatility while mating her down the road. Bred to the unique pedigreed Clarks Lawyer will should provide the new owner a quick ROI.

When we searched for a heifer bull this past year, Clarks Lawyer sparked our interest and checked off the boxes. Phenotypically he is a nice balance with a proud masculine front end, length of body, depth of rib and flank, and base width. He has tremendous libido and bred very efficiently along with freezing semen quickly. Lawyer has been a stand out within his large contemporaries, where he started off at just 79lbs and weaned off to ratio 106 and continue on to ratio 102 as a yearling. Numerically he excels, ranking in the top 50% or better in 13 of 16 traits; including top 20% for GEST, top 5% for CED and top 3% for BW. Over the last few years, we have heard positive reports on his sire, Wulfs Guidebook T913G, as being impressive in the flesh and a great breeding unit in the heifer pen. The Clarks Lawyer cow family are easy fleshing, heavy milking females; bred for productivity, consistency and efficiency. We put a lot of confidence in Lawyer and used him heavily in the heifer pen and on a group of cows as well. Clarks Lawyer brings a lot to the table, so pull up a chair and see what he can offer your program!
