WELCOME FROM ANDERSON CATTLE Welcome to the 12th Annual Anderson Cattle Bull sale, or the inaugural Anderson/KT
Bull Sale. As you can see our program has undergone some changes this year with the merger of the Anderson Cattle and KT Ranches herds. We are very excited about the future with merging with KT Ranches and continue with 2 bull sales per year, one in Saskatchewan and one in BC. With the changes, many things stay the same. The customer service, the people, the cattle are all the same, just under a new umbrella. We look forward to expanding on the quality and quantity of the bulls on offer each year. The breeding direction will remain focused on continuing to build a highly maternal cowherd, that is functional, fertile, good looking, easy doing and problem free. Our goals will still be to raise bulls that are geared toward the commercial cowman to make their operations as problem free and profitable as possible. The bulls on offer this year are a tremendous group. The 2-year-olds are big, strong, athletic bulls ready to cover large numbers of females. The yearling group is one of the strongest groups we have ever had, led by a large group of Coleman Bravo sons as well as Anderson Highwood sons, to go along with the Nitro’s, Pay Weight’s, Equity, Colossal, Stone and even a couple of good old Motive sons. Each group of bulls, both the 2-year-old and yearlings have some power bulls, calving ease bulls and some that blend the two together. Rest assured all the bulls are backed by a sound, functional, good uddered mother. We are very proud of the Commercial Cattlemen that we call customers and friends. We get to deal with some of the elite cowherds, and cattlemen in Western Canada and get to deliver bulls to some of the best ranches in the country. Free delivery is included with all bulls across Western Canada. We enjoy delivering your bulls, visiting, and seeing your ranches and cow herds. It seems every bull delivery trip you learn something new that contributes to us raising better cattle and having better bulls on offer for sale. Your success is our priority. We try to eliminate every problem we can with structure, feet, birth weight, udders, temperament and performance. If a problem ever does arise, we stand behind these bulls and will do everything we can to fix it. We will again be offering our warranty program. This is a user-friendly option for additional protection on your investment. We don’t anticipate problems with these bulls, but they are still bulls, anything can happen. If you do have a problem, we want to be the first to know. If a problem happens during the breeding season, we will have bulls ready to ensure we get your cows bred. His O’Reilly Factor cow is a model Angus cow that is long, big bodied and good uddered. We don’t have many O’Reilly Factor cows but the ones we do have are very high quality. 1017 has been a favorite at every stage of his life and will be an excellent calving ease option that will be highly maternal.

Trapper was a bull we had seen at Genex, in Billings, a few years ago and really liked his length of body and his awesome foot. We sold quite a few Trapper sons last year and used up the rest of the semen this year. We only have one Trapper this year, but 1066 is a good solid bull. We have always admired the Duff program and thought the 4 Real bull was one of the most unique ones they have every raised. To be totally honest, I was hoping for a heifer on this mating but got a cool looking bull instead. 1108 is one of the more unique bulls to sell in the sale, he is super deep ribbed, long, stout and cool looking. A bull that’s a bit outcross for us and one I think will leave some killer females.
