Current Council Completes Last Meeting This was the current city council’s last meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday. City council’s reorganizational meeting is March 31, 10:30 a.m. at the usual 6500 Congress Ave. building. All the new city council members elected on March 10 will be sworn in individually and seated. Mayor Scott Singer gavaled in this meeting. A detailed report on ridership on the city’s MiCa free autonomous shuttle capped the long meeting agenda. The route will extend to Royal Palm Place starting April 1. The shuttle operates on a fixed loop inside Mizner Park, stopping at five designated locations. “We’re invested in our future,” Mayor Scott Singer said in his closing remarks before adjourning his final meeting at 10:15 p.m. He’s termed limited on council and is actively running for congress.
