Boca Bowl Football Previews with Golf Were they having fun yet? You bet. Twenty-two foursomes hit the links at The Boca Raton in perfect weather Tuesday, starting with a 12:15 p.m. shotgun start. Their golf tourney was the lead-in for ESPN Events’ 12th annual Boca Raton Bowl college football matchup coming up on Dec. 23, using Florida Atlantic University’s Flager Credit Union Stadium in Boca as the venue. “This brings together our sponsors, our partners, vendors and community members, so it feels like a family event,” Doug Mosley, the Bowl’s executive director said at the outdoor veranda reception and awards ceremony after play. Among the 88 golfers were Boca Chamber CEO/president Troy McLellan’s foursome, including Randy Nobles, who chairs the Boca Raton Airport Authority. See on Page 3
