Prepare for a Fabulous Fourth

June 26 - July 3, 2025

POLITICS

By Marci Shatzman

Get your red, white and blue on, whether you celebrate Independence Day in the city of Boca Raton or the county park in West Boca. There are three major must-dos to plan for July Fourth in either venue: Get there early. These events attract thousands of spectators. Bring your own seating and plenty of hydration. And leave the pets, booze and personal fireworks at home. Boca Raton has a full day of events leading up to their fireworks display and celebration in Countess de Hoernle Park with all parking off campus at BRiC. The city runs a shuttle. Firecracker 5K starts at 7:15 a.m. on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University.
