State of the City: Looking Back at 2025, Boca Raton Prepares for 2026 Tuesday morning, Mayor Scott Singer delivered the State of the City address at the Boca Raton Community Center, updating residents on city projects, public safety, finances and upcoming elections. Singer emphasized the city’s strong fiscal health, low property tax rates, and ongoing initiatives to enhance parks, infrastructure, and civic engagement. “For years we’ve been saying we have one of the lowest property tax rates of any full-service city in Florida,” the mayor said. “Well, we did the math, did the numbers — we have the lowest property tax rate of any full-service city. Not so many cities provide the services we do, but our tax rate is low.” See on Page 10
