TherewillbeanoptionalFlightPoolineachflight.Theentryfeeperteamis $100.00.AtthecompletionforourMen’sInvitationalthewinnerintheflight willreceive60%ofthepoolinthatflightandtherunnerupwillreceive30% ofthepool.Tenpercentofthepoolwillgotothewinningflightthatis determinedbytheteamthatwinstheshootoutforourInvitational Championship.
Skills Competition
PuttingContest.Eachteam’scombineddistanceontwoputtsaddedtogether todeterminethewinningteam.Closestcombineddistancefromthehole. Puttingcontestwillbeheldonthepracticeputtinggreen,Entryis$20.00per teamonFriday,March20th.
tournament format
ThetournamentformatisFourBallMatchPlay,eachplayerwillget90%of handicapatFullHandicap.Thefieldhasbeendividedintoflights determinedbyeachteam’scombinedhandicapindex. Eachteamwillplayfivenine-holematcheswithintheirflight.Strokes willbeallocatedoffofthelowhandicapineachmatch,withthelow handicapperplayingatscratch.
Ateamwillreceiveonepointforeachholewoninmatchand1/2pointfor eachholetied.Thewinningteamofthematchreceivesaonepointbonus forthewin.(10pointspossiblepermatch) Theteamthatwinsthemostpointsintheirflightwillplayintheshoot outtodetermineouroverallChampion.

1.)Preferredlieswillbepermittedinyourownfairwayonly.Youmaylift,clean andplaceyourballwithinoneclublengthoftheoriginallienonearerthe hole.
2.)Allpavedserviceroadsandpavedcartpathsareimmovableobstructions. Playerisentitledtodroponeclublengthfromnearestpointofrelief,not nearerthehole, withoutpenalty.
3.)Therestroomon#4and#14areconsideredimmovableobstructionsandfree reliefisgranted.
4.)Themaintenanceareatotheleftof#9andrightof#10ismarkedasoutof bounds.
5.)U.S.G.A.approvedmeasuringdevicesonly.
6.)Theembeddedballruleisineffectthroughthegeneralareasgreen.
7.)Disputes Ifyoufeelyouropponenthasbrokenarule,butyoucan’tagree onhowtoproceed,youmust“makeaclaim”bytellingyouropponenta)thatyou aremakingaclaim,b)whatyouthinkhasbeendonewrongand,c)thatyou wantarulingfromthecommittee.
8.)Scorecards—Pleaseturnyourscorecardsintothescoringarea immediatelyfollowingthecompletionofyour9Holematches.Pleasesignand attestindicatedwinnerofmatchalongwithpointtotal.Alldisputesmustbe resolvedpriortosigningyourscorecard.
9.)Allrulingsbythecommitteeshallbefinal.

1.)TheShootOutfortheoverallwinnerwillbeconductedonHole10,18,10 and9.Teammemberswillplayanalternateshotcompetitionwiththe handicapsbeing60/40chapmantodeterminethewinner. Theteamwilldecide priortoplaywhohitstheopeningshotandthenalternateeachshotforthe remainderoftheholes.Playwillbefromourgold/sapphiretees.
2.)Wewillplayaneliminationformat.Twoteamswillbeeliminatedonhole #10, andtwoteamswillbeeliminatedonhole#18,twoteamsonHole#10with thefinaltwoteamsplayingthehole#9fortheoveralltitle.Ifteamsaretied, wewillreplayhole#9untilawinnerisdecided.
