Originally from Comox Valley, BC, Bob joined the military in 1979 as an Aero Engine Technician and after postings to Cold Lake AB, Comox BC and Winnipeg, he began to pursue his interest in photography, which quickly developed into a passion, some might even call it an obsession. However, not being content with just taking simple pictures, he developed an interest in HDR, Infrared, and Painting with Light techniques.
Bob’s shooting most often takes him to the back roads of Manitoba, where he spends countless hours wandering the parks, woods, and farmers fields, all the while chasing that perfect light – be it morning, noon or night – just to capture that perfect moment and make time stand still.
