God's purpose and plan for Dad is to be in the home. He starts off the day there and ends the day in home. That is the the Lord's ideal. As the earthly father learns from his Heavenly Father, our children will without fail, watch, listen, mimic, and follow their dad. Jesus shows us as He observed His Father, our children will do the same in everything! Good, bad, ugly, not so good and our best. We must have Jesus on the throne of our heart and follow Him as directed by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Neither will ever contradict the other.

John 5:20 “For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.” Doubts flee when we realize that the Father has us! We are safe in His hands. Need direction? He has all the answers and gives them to us as we need to know. He calls us to trust Him, rely upon Him, and know that He never fails. Everything that you are facing didn't catch Him off-guard. Romans 8:28 is still true. All things means all things! Regardless where those things originated and what the original purpose was, God in His power and mercy will direct it all into the proper place at the best time for your growth and His glory. That's our blessed Father!

It is such encouragement and assurance to know that our Father knows where we are in our Christian walk, and knows our walk's end. He loves us and is pleased with our spiritual growth and development. As Jesus was obedient to His Father’s plan, His Father spoke out His endorsement and pleasure with His Son's actions. So we earthly fathers must always do the same. Encourage our children. Love them unconditionally. Promote their victories. May they always know that you are theirs and they are yours.

Matthew 3:17 “And suddenly a voice can from Heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

John 5:23 “That all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does honor the Father who sent Him.” If Dad knows, loves, follows, and obeys Christ, their is a 93% probability that the wife and children will also. Dads, if you truly love your family, love and follow Jesus.

Read the word of God, pray, faithfully attend the House of Worship, serve in some capacity beyond the norm and beyond you comfort zone. That is where faith will grow and even soar.

Love Jesus and you will love your wife and children as you should. You will honor your parents are you should and as well as your church family.

WHAT’S UP WITH THE VINEYARDS

Welcome to our “It’s Personal” page. For so long we’ve had the joy of sharing our highs and lows, praises and prayer requests with you, our dear friends and family. We wanted to stay connected with you because with God, it’s always personal. We hope you enjoy a little of our family connections.

Have you seen the posts from the FB group “Jesus talks”? If you haven’t, check them out. Lately they have been ministering to our souls, of course supported by Scripture. Always inspiring hope.

Dr. Bob’s knee surgery did not go as planned but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Originally he was supposed to have his torn meniscus repaired but it was too far gone. The doctor decided on a different type repair, which greatly reduced the immediate pain and requires less recovery time. However, this means that a total knee replacement might be down the road sooner. We say “might be” because we believe God is the great healer. But we are thankful he is starting on the road to being able to travel again. Lord, nothing is too big for You! He is starting to get that excitement again for where the Lord is going to take him. It’s never boring. He has several invitations from Pakistan, Jamaica, Philippines, Kenya, Uganda and Cuba. God is so good.

My job as a long-term Kindergarten sub has come to an end and it’s time to make some big decisions. Originally thinking I was being groomed for the chaplaincy, the Lord has turned my heart towards a career teaching kids to read.

I was offered a full-time teacher’s position here in Florida with the necessary training for licensure. It has sparked something that was there over 20 years ago. If kids can read then they can read the Bible. I have always had a love for literacy in our little ones. God never forgets even if we do, a gift he’s given to us and a love for learning that can be passed on to others. So here we are! Making moves and decisions that will enable me to obtain my provisional license and work towards full licensure. Keep us in your prayers because this is a BIG decision as our Florida rental was only for a year and I can also pursue this same degree in Virginia which takes us back closer to family. We will keep you posted! But it’s not all work. I got to enjoy a Make-A-Wish come true for my nephew at Kennedy Space Center where we met an astronaut and also had a trip to Legoland: -) Luke has been invited to be a part of the YWAM worship team that is going on the road for three months. They will be playing in France, Romania and Vietnam. He is very excited about traveling to new places and meeting new people and helping lead people in worship. Keep him in your prayers as it starts at the end of June.

The grandkids are all busy with their summer activities. They are all engaged in working or training, or even both, and we are so proud.

The Heart of Bob Vineyard Ministries

Dr. Bob Vineyard heeded the call to missions in 1973, having felt the call to preach at the early age of four. With over five decades of different ministry roles, he now dedicates himself entirely to missions.

He firmly believes that the most effective approach to global ministry involves empowering indigenous pastors to impact their communities, fostering a shift towards a Kingdom culture within their own contexts.

Through BVM, individuals are provided with basic sustenance like simple meals such as rice and beans and meat if available, which for some serves all too often as their sole meal of the day. This act of compassion opens the door for Dr. Bob to share the Gospel, allowing listeners to embrace faith, undergo baptism, and commence a journey of spiritual growth under the guidance of local pastors.

Dr. Bob expresses deep gratitude for the prayerful support and financial contributions that sustain this vital ministry.
