Inspired by the principles of the old mortar, Crushgrind® was developed to go beyond a simple pepper mill, aiming to create a superior grinder unlike anything on the market.

BiocompositeCrushgrind® Billund grinder

The Crushgrind® Billund series showcases a modern design – based on high-quality biocomposite material, aiming for a greener alternative by using a renewable material.

The surface of the biocomposite has a natural, earthly aesthetic which reflects its natural and green origin. The biocomposite is based on cellulose fibres from certified sustainably managed forests and crude tall oil, a residue of the pulp production process. Unlike crop-based biomaterials, this biocomposite doesn’t interfere with a food-production chain.

The surface of the biocomposite features a smooth yet subtly textured finish, with  delicate natural fibers or flecks visible throughout, adding character and a unique  visual appeal. Due to the nature and origin of the biocomposite, the colors may  occur slightly differently and with minor speckles on the surface of the grinder.

The biocomposite material is lightweight yet durable, offering a refined product that  is as visually pleasing as it is functional.

Billund Spice Grinder
