MEDesque Goodie Bag Prize Draw
We will only process your data for the purposes of entering you into and administering the prize draw, and not for any other purpose without your consent. Entering the prize draw
1. The prize draw is open to all resident of the United Kingdom (excluding the Republic of Ireland), who are aged 18 or over, except employees and their families of Bloomsbury Publishing Plc (the promoter, “us” and “we”), its agents or anyone professionally c onnected with this prize draw.
2. This prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary. By entering (”Entry”) you will automatically be added to the prize draw and are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. The prize draw will open on 00:00, Thursday 23rd April 2026. Any Entry must be completed and received by us by Midnight 7th May 2026. Entries received after the closing date of the prize draw will not be considered.
4. Only one Entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry.
5. All Entries submitted to us will become our property on receipt and by submitting your Entry, you hereby assign any and all intellectual property rights in and to your Entry to us
6. No responsibility will be accepted by us for any lost, delayed or incomplete or misdirected entries or entries that cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

7. You will be in with a chance of winning:

8. We have the right to substitute any of the prizes at our sole discretion. There is no cash alternative and the prize in not transferable or exchangeable.
9. Expenses and costs not stated as part of the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner.
10. The winner to be chosen at random by an independent person on 8 th May 2026.
11. The winner will be notified by Instagram direct messaging (using details provided at entry) before 12th May 2026 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to us within seven days of being notified by us, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
12. The winner's name and county can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to Darcie O’Meara at the below address or an email to socialmedia@bloomsbury.com within 60 of days after the date of the closing date of the prize draw.
13. The winner’s name, image and likeness may be used by us in any media and we may require the winner to participate in publicity or advertising related to the prize draw.
Other important information
14. Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
15. We will process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By participating in the prize draw, your hereby agree to our collection and usage of your personal data and acknowledge that you have read and accepted our privacy policy.
16. We reserve the right to: i) disqualify any entrant whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the prize draw, ii) to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct, as well as any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or errors, and iii) at any time to cancel, void, amend, modify or supersede the prize draw if circumstances make this necessary.
17. We exclude liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage, liability, disappointment or injury suffered by an entrant as a result of entry into the prize draw or occurring to the winner(s) arising from his or her acceptance of a prize. Nothing shall exclude our liability for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of our negligence. If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, that provision to the extent required shall be deemed to be deleted and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions shall not be affected.
18. This prize draw and any dispute arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the parties hereby agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
