NATURE AND ART Creativity is the engine that moves the world, that is why my master’s project is a centre for the creation. It offers citizens spaces in which to develop their abilities, it enables them to create without boundaries in the middle of nature. The building allows us to feel nature in a more intimate and profound way, it is a green oasis within the city of Tarragona. On the site we find a modernist house, Mas Bonet. To demolish this building in ruins because it has lost its original use and qualities is meaningless, that is why I bet on its rehabilitation. Giving this spaces a new life and taking advantage of the wealth of its existing resources is a change towars a more sustainable architecture.

HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTRE The project is located in the stunning valley of La Cerdanya, at the catalan Pyrenees. The landscape and its preservation is essential to the design of the project. The height of the facilities and the dimensions of the running truck are a challenge for two reasons. Firstly, because of the natural impact and secondly due to the slope of the mountain. To solve this, the project aligns the roofs of the different buildings to the running track, resulting in half-buried architectures. The running track becomes a lookout towards the landscape.
The project intends to serve both the professional athletes from all the country as well as the residents of around the valley.

SAVING CAN RICART
The location, Can Ricart in Barcelona, presents two areas of action. An empty lot to be exploited and a series of buildings in ruins whose rehabilitation would reactivate the block. The proposal includes a series of new buildings for unaccompanied foreign minors and young students in addition to the rehabilitation of the old factories into a market and a library. The project will reactivate the area and become a social meeting place. The Jean Nouvel park and the proximity to the Rambla del Poblenou play an important urban role to attract people to the area.

LIBRARY REHABILITATION The old factory, located in the neighborhood la Sagrega, in Barcelona, was transformed into a parking that has no use anymore. The project pretends to give this abandoned place a new life and transform it into a library for the neighbourhood. Its triangular shape is a challenge to overcome, as well as the trusses that cover it. The building will be divided into 5 stripes that will host the various library spaces. The central strip is a stair that can be lived in several ways. To take advantage of the gap below the stair, an auditorium is placed.

SKYSCRAPER: OPEN DENSITY The project consisted of designing 70.000 m² in a U shape plot around an existing building. It is located in Chicago between the river, the Willis Tower and Union Station. In order not to block the light of the exiting building offices and to break with the idea of dense mass that grows we created a flexible structure. This structure can welcome a wide range of programs depending on the necessities. (with Marta Vilaseca)

KNEM OFFICES: I contributed in the constructive documents of KNEM Offices. My tasks consisted in developing the 3d with Revit and drawing the construction documents such as details, plans and sections. Most of Next Arquitectura’s projects are residential. During my time there, I worked on several of them. My involvement was complete, from 3d imagining and concept design to construction documentation. Most of the projects included rehabilitation. Moreover, I worked hand in hand with the interior design team, creating renders and designing furniture.

El proyecto de Ground Plan parte importante de inteGurrea 70 Floor tiene una riorismo. El diseño de los muebles y la elección de materiales tienen gran importancia para el cliente. En este proyecto también participé en las fases de anteproyecto, básico y ejecutivo realizando el 100% de los planos. Además de desarrollar mis capacidades técnicas aprendí a usar con gran habilidad el programa 3dmax, de esta manera podíamos mostrar semanalmente al cliente como iban a quedar los diver sos espacios y las opciones que teníamos.

magazine
The project consisted of writing an article of an architectural interior as if we were working for a design magazine. The layout had to be a copy of the chosen magazine and the article had to correspond with the style of reports published. Mjรถlk magazine writes about lifestyle, restaurants, places to visit and furniture among others, that is why it seemed the most appropriate to sell a small spice shop in the old neighborhood of Chicago, The Spice House.

My desire was to photograph fashion in a different and less conventional way, leaving behind the model with a white background. I borrowed the clothes from a thirft shop and with some friends I came up with this project. The scenery, the clothes and the poses are complemented by the graphic design of the catalogue. The colors play an essential role. To edit the pictures and make them more dramatic I used Lightroom.

With a given word (copy) we had to find an architecture detail that describes it, connecting that word to a detail. Having a handmade doll house made by my grandfather made the work an adventure as he had replicated some of its own furniture in miniature. The photos try to show the tension between the object and its copy. I also made some sequences to play with the scale and visual delusion.
