This year a benefit auction will be held to help raise funds for Martin Walter’s daughter, Helen. At the age of 25, Helen has sadly been diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumor and has begun treatments at the National Cancer Institute in Frederick, Maryland, USA. We come together now, as a farming and ranching community, to help out one of our own in offsetting the cost of out-of-country medical care. It is truly a unique experience in the agricultural community to see the support and encouragement that takes place when a person or family is in a time of need! The Livingstone Colony has graciously donated a gorgeous Angus X Simmental breeding heifer to this cause. At the beginning of the bull sale, tickets will be auctioned off to the highest bidders. During the bull sale, tickets will also be available for purchase in the office. At the close of the sale, a draw will take place for the heifer. All proceeds will go towards helping the Walter Family in this difficult time.
