Ten-year celebration The staff and residents of Mission’s Chartwell Cedarbrooke Retirement Residence hosted a 10-year anniversary celebration on Aug. 23. There was a full day of activities, including an ice cream social and classic car show. Other events included a long table pancake breakfast, a treasure hunt, family photos, a barbecue picnic lunch, a beer garden and prizes. Later in the evening, the comic singing duo Bernie and Red performed a special show. As part of the celebration, donations for the Mission Food Bank were collected.
