hat does a whisky distillery just this side of Black Creek have to do with broadening the creative arts industry in our region? Well, they happen to have a 2.1-million-gallon cement tank that is 300 feet long by 100 feet wide that could can be used as a film set, and it’s about to get renovated to do just that. The announcement that Shelter Point Distillery’s tank is being repurposed as a film set was part of the Screen BC Day proclamation by the provincial government this week, which celebrated the role the creative arts play in our economy.
