Welcome to Sunfest 2015 INFORMATION SECURITY, FIRST AID, LOST & FOUND: • Text 250.510.9767 24 hours a day for any Security concerns during the event. • Lost & Found is located at the Info Booth. • First Aid is located by the Concert Bowl Entrance on Main Street. Please contact Security during non-concert hours for first aid assistance. In case of emergency call 911. CONCERT ADMISSION: • •

Concert gates are open 4pm - 12am Thurs., 12pm - 12am Friday to Sunday. Sunfest retains the right to delay the opening of the gate for any cause. Wristbands are issued only with valid event tickets and are non-transferrable. They must be securely fastened and visible at all times. Tampering with wristbands will result in ejection from the site. Outside liquids are not permitted, no exceptions! Empty drinking containers are permitted and can be filled at water stations located within the festival area. NO GLASS! All patrons entering the concert area are subject to a security check. Patrons coming in with bags, purses and coolers will be directed to a separate check-in and should expect appropriate delays.

SHOW SITE AND SEATING AREA: • • •

Reserved Seating ticket holders are permitted to place their chairs at 4pm Thursday and leave them in place for the weekend. Please ask Reserved Section Host for assistance. General Admission ticket holders can place chairs at 12 pm but must remove them daily. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the containers provided.

BEVERAGE GARDENS: • Beverage Gardens are now operating under an open license capacity. Beverages are permitted throughout the concert bowl with the exception of the Stage Pit and Family Zone. • Zero tolerance for intoxication, violence and rowdy behaviour. • Minors will be escorted to security/RCMP if they try to gain access to licensed areas. • TWO pieces of ID are required for entry, one being government issued photo ID. All patrons are subject to full searches and ID checks. WASHROOMS: • Washrooms are located throughout the campground areas: • Three permanent washrooms are located on site in the Cowichan Exhibition buildings, including facilities at the Sunfest Marketplace in Mellor Hall. Check map for other locations. • Portable washrooms are located throughout the festival grounds, on the show site and in camping areas. They are cleaned twice daily. CASH MACHINES: • Located at the ticket gate, info tent, and beverage gardens. Locations subject to change without notice. Service fees apply. CAMERAS: • No professional recording equipment will be permitted without media credentials. • Video cameras and cameras with lenses longer than 4” (detachable or non-detachable) are prohibited inside the festival grounds and are subject to confiscation. RECYCLING & GARBAGE: • Sunfest is located on farm land. Please help us keep Sunfest green and clean by utilizing the proper waste and recycling bins throughout the festival site. Garbage drop-off locations are located throughout camping. There is no curb-side pickup this year. Please be responsible and use the bins provided.

CAMPING: • Access is ONLY given to the campground area with valid weekend event and camping passes. You can however purchase a Campground Visitor Pass at Box Office. • Cook stoves and BBQ’s MUST be 4ft off of the ground. ABSOLUTELY NO FIRE PITS, PROPANE FIRE PITS OR CHARCOAL COOKING DEVICES. You must have a fi re extinguisher at your campsite if you are using a cookstove or BBQ. • No dogs allowed on site. • Failure to keep a clean campsite may result in eviction from the grounds. • No household furniture permitted. • Climbing on any structures, trees, RV’s (with the exception of repairs), fences, etc. may lead to ejection from the grounds. • Generators must be shut down by 11pm. Obey campsite quiet times. • Campsites are to be left clean and vacated by 11am on Monday August 2nd • Campers who do not demonstrate care for self, others or the festival WILL be asked to leave the campground and have camping passes revoked without refund. Camping at Sunfest is a privilege. Dangerous or obnoxious behaviour will NOT be tolerated. ALCOHOL: • Outside alcohol in cans or plastic containers is permitted in the campground only. • Open alcohol is not permitted on roadways and will be confiscated and disposed of. • Visibly intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter the show site. • ABSOLUTELY NO UNDERAGE DRINKING OR CONTRIBUTING TO MINORS IS PERMITTED. Anyone found in violation of this will be reported to security and face ejection from site. TRANSPORTATION & ROADWAYS: • No cruising or excessive trips throughout the site are permitted. • Roadway speed limit is 10km/hr. • NO personal ATV’s, dirt bikes, or golf carts are permitted. • Only vehicles displaying proper camp/parking passes are permitted. • Golf carts are available to transport physically challenged people upon request. • Keep roadways clear at all times. Any vehicles impeding roadways will be towed. SAFETY: PROTECT YOURSELF: • If you notice anything that puts your or others in danger, please notify security immediately. A confidential text line is provided 24 hours a day – 250.510.9767 • Children must be supervised by parents/guardians at all times. • Weapons, firearms, pyrotechnics and any other dangerous items that could pose a hazard are strictly prohibited. Dangerous materials will be confiscated and the persons will be subject to site ejection and possible criminal charges. • Any violent or disruptive behavior will result in immediate eviction from the grounds and possible persecution. • Flying colours, patches or any type of gang related paraphernalia will not be tolerated.
