LegZZ is a polished ZZ Top tribute band with an incredible stage show appealing to audiences of all ages. What separates LegZZ from other tribute groups is the attention to detail. The authentic long beards, the perfectly performed music, vocals, choreography and custom-built guitars, including the fuzzy spinning ones! Every show is a fun and memorable event. Their 90-minute extravaganza encompasses the entire ZZ Top hit catalogue from the 1970’s to present day.

THERE ARE TRIBUTE BANDS, AND THEN THERE’S BCDC.
They were born of bush party ashes in the summer of 1999. Some 500 unexpected gigs later, Canada’s BC/DC has systematically redefined the concept of a tribute band, garnering iconic status amongst diehard fans, agents, and venues from Vancouver BC to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. From the backyard biker bashes of Ymir, to the star-studded legendary rooms of Las Vegas. From Nelson to New York City. While a web search will turn up dozens of AC/DC

Nightrain, The Ultimate Guns n Roses Tribute Experience pays tribute to one of the most iconic rock bands in history: Guns N’ Roses. This tribute act will give you a night of high energy music that never lets up. Nightrain plays each song from the Appetite For Destruction album with complete accuracy in regards to both music and attitude. You can travel back to the Ritz in 1987 and experience the show first hand! But it doesn’t stop there. The Orlando based band also plays all of the hits and most requested songs from the other Guns N’ Roses albums cover acts around the world, there aren’t likely many who’ve so successfully branded the Aussie band’s timeless raunch with such epic rock n’ roll fury, while also managing to bottle the essence of a wild frontier lifestyle. BCDC, unlike many tribute acts claiming to be “North America’s #1 Clone” or “Just Like the Real Thing”, BC/DC has turned the tables. The band takes a comedic approach, claiming the tunes as their own, and to having “heard of some BC/ DC tribute band from Australia”. They rarely give factual interviews to big city press. Adding to the schtick, the band members all go by comic aliases - lead singer Brendan Raftery’s Brian “Bon” Johnscottson paying respects to both AC/DC’s famous frontmen. It’s working. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. BC/ DC’s live show has become a legendary, and necessary, “rite-of-passage” amongst their unwavering supporters and believers. With over-the-top stage energy, they deliver every last note of all the classic songs with absolute authority. You get tired just watching them. BC/DC is heavily rooted in the Bon Scott-era catalog (Dirty Deeds, TNT, Jailbreak, Let There Be Rock), but also covers AC/DC’s second “golden era” with all the essentials; Back in Black, For Those About to Rock, Hells Bells, and many more. Hey, there’s always another AC/DC tune, and BC/DC always seems more than eager to blast it out.

art of the community and a kick off to summer for 26 years, Armstrong Funtastic will be hosting 32 teams beginning Friday June 24 with playoffs and wind up on Sunday June 26. Over the years, Armstrong Funtastic has raised funds that have assisted with various projects including ball diamond improvements, Memorial Park playground, the new swimming pool, Nor-Val Arena, Hassen Arena improvements, Armstrong Curling Club, Canada Day Celebrations and many smaller projects as well. The Armstrong Enderby Skating Club has benefited from the event for many years through sales of ice and recycling. The Lions Club and Armstrong Legion Branch #35 always provide the concession and return the funds back to the community for projects such as playgrounds, school breakfast programs and ‘Meals to Wheels’. For the first 10 years Armstrong Funtastic was run by a devoted group of community volunteers eventually coming under the umbrella of the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce. This year, the chamber is pleased to be partnering with Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation to continue to provide a great weekend of ball for returning teams. Why do our teams come? A warm welcome, close proximity to services, the Armstrong Farmers’ Market, community pool, Music in the Park and Canada Day activities all entice teams to come back year after year, bringing with them friends and families. A big thank you to those teams who have supported the Armstrong Funtastic for many years – teams from Abbotsford and Kamloops have been with the tournament since the beginning with a new group of dedicated teams from Kelowna and Chilliwack. And thank you to the volunteers who donate endless hours, some since the tournament was first established. We couldn’t do it without you! THANK YOU ALL!!

17th Annual Enderby Tournament
This years theme:
Enderby Funtastic has been a major contributor to the recreational amenities that we as a community have come to enjoy since 1998, which was the first year that Enderby hosted a Funtastic ball Tournament. Some of the projects that Funtastic contributed to over the years include: • Paving the parking lot at the ball diamonds • Major contributor to the Enderby and Area F master parks plan • Childrens play area at riverside park • Fencing and netting of diamond 1 • Refurbishing of backstops • Rebuilding diamond 4 infield • Purchase of a rotovater /aerator for diamond infield maintenance • Continued support local youth sports and local playoff championship teams These are just a few of the projects that Enderby Funtastic has participated over the years. The directors of Enderby Funtastic want to firstly recognize the Enderby Lions Club for faithfully supporting us for 16 years. It was through their participation in Funtastic that they were inspired to build some kind of a facility with a roof, for functions such as this. Thus the Gazebo which was built in 2003, a great asset to the community which is used by many for various functions. THANK YOU ENDERBY LIONS CLUB. We also would like to thank the many local businesses and citizens for their continued support of our July long weekend event. Most of all a big thank you to the many teams who have participated over the years, some since the very beginning.

Formed in 1989, the Young’uns are a group of veteran musicians that have worked the valley for many years. Get ready for an inspiring and memorable live show! This 4-piece Vernon based powerhouse is going to take you on a musical journey you won’t soon forget. C
iting unfinished business, bassist Jeff Pearce, keyboardist Kevin Young, guitarist Mark Makoway and singer David Usher have reunited as MOIST and are announcing upcoming tour dates and plans for new music. From 1993 to 2001, over the course of three multiplatinum albums, MOIST led the vanguard of the Canadian alt-rock scene, sold over a million records and toured relentlessly from sea to sea to sea, literally. MOIST criss-crossed the nation from Victoria, to a cliff edge in Paradise, NFLD, to the shores of the Beaufort Sea in Tuktoyaktuk headlining shows for thousands of fans in arenas, theatres, concert halls and festivals across the country. MOIST’s impact was felt well beyond Canada. The band made its mark internationally touring extensively throughout the U.S., Europe and parts of Asia appearing on Top Of The Pops in the UK, as the musical guest on a pilot for a new show in NYC called The Jon Stewart Show and being lampooned by Beavis and Butthead. With chart topping hits such as ‘Push’, ‘Silver’, ‘Tangerine’, ‘Resurrection’ and ‘Breathe’, MOIST dominated rock radio through the 90s, won multiple Juno awards and received numerous accolades for both their music and devastating live show. A highly sought after live act, MOIST shared stages throughout the 90s with virtually all their Canadian contemporaries and a veritable pantheon of international superstars including Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Green Day, Collective Soul, Neil Young among many others. After an exhausting decade, the band went on hiatus in 2001 to take a breath, pursue divergent personal and professional trajectories, build families and find their lives outside of MOIST. “There was no timeline for the break,” says Mark Makoway. “We all got off the tour bus in a bit of a daze after years of living and working together and just needed some time to figure out what else we wanted from our lives.” Now, twenty years after the start of it all and with renewed vigour and an irrepressible urge to rock, MOIST is back and “The Resurrection” is upon us.
