Holiday Songs Jingle Bells Dashing thru’ the snow in a one-horse open sleigh; O’er the fields we go, laughing all the way; Bells on bobtails ring, making spirits bright; Oh, what fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight!
A day or two ago I thought I’d take a ride, And soon Miss Fannie Bright Was seated by my side; The horse was lean and lank, Misfortune seemed his lot; He got into a drifted bank, And we, we got upsot.
Chorus: Jingle bells, Jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh, what fun it is to ride in a onehorse open sleigh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Oh, what fun it is to ride in a onehorse open sleigh!
Repeat Chorus A day or two ago the story I must tell I went out on the snow And on my back I fell; A gent was riding by In a one-horse open sleigh He laughed as there I sprawling lie But quickly drove away
Repeat Chorus Now the ground is white; Go it while you’re young; Take the girls tonight, And sing this sleighing song. Just get a bobtailed bay, Two-forty at his speed; Hitch him to an open sleigh, and crack, you’ll take the lead. Repeat Chorus

Holiday Songs O Little Town of Bethlehem O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie! Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by. Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting Light; The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight. For Christ is born of Mary, and gathered all above, While mortals sleep, the angels keep their watch of wondering love. O morning stars together, proclaim the holy birth, And praises sing to God the King, and peace to men on earth!
How silently, how silently, the wondrous Gift is giv’n; So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His Heav’n. No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin, Where meek souls will receive Him still, the dear Christ enters in.
O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend to us, we pray; Cast out our sin, and enter in, be born in us today. We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell; O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel!
Where children pure and happy pray to the blessèd Child, Where misery cries out to Thee, Son of the mother mild; Where charity stands watching and faith holds wide the door, The dark night wakes, the glory breaks, and Christmas comes once more.
You want everything to be perfect.
We can help.

Good King Wenceslas Good King Wenceslas looked out, On the Feast of Stephen, When the snow lay round about, Deep, and crisp and even; Brightly shone the moon that night,
Though the frost was cruel, When a poor man came in sight, Gathering winter fuel. ‘Hither, page, and stand by me, If thou know’st it, telling, Yonder peasant, who is he? Where and what his dwelling?’

‘Sire, he lives a good league hence, Underneath the mountain, Right against the forest fence, By Saint Agnes’ fountain.’ ‘Bring me flesh, and bring me wine, Bring me pine-logs hither: Thou and I will see him dine, When we bear them thither.’ Page and monarch, forth they went, Forth they went together; Through the rude wind’s wild lament And the bitter weather. ‘Sire, the night is darker now, And the wind blows stronger; Fails my heart, I know not how; I can go no longer.’ ‘Mark my footsteps, good my page;
Tread thou in them boldly; Thou shalt find the winter’s rage Freeze thy blood less coldly.’ In his master’s steps he trod, Where the snow lay dinted; Heat was in the very sod Which the saint had printed. Therefore, Christian men, be sure, Wealth or rank possessing, Ye who now will bless the poor, Shall yourselves find blessing.

Holiday Songs Silver Bells City sidewalks, busy sidewalks, dressed in holiday style, in the air there’s a feeling of Christmas. Children laughing, people passing, Meeting smile after smile, And on every street corner you hear; Silver bells, silver bells, It’s Christmas-time in the city, Ring-a-ling, hear them ring, Soon it will be Christmas day.
City street lights, even stop lights, Blink in bright red and green, As the shoppers rush home with their treasures, Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch, This is Santa’s big scene, And above all this bustle you’ll hear; Silver bells, silver bells, It’s Christmas-time in the city, Ring-la-ling, hear them ring, Soon it will be Christmas Day.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer You know Dasher, and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid, Donner and Blitzen, But do you recall The most famous reindeer of all... Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer, Had a very shiny nose,
And if you ever saw it, You would even say it glows! All of the other reindeer Used to laugh and call him names; They never let poor Rudolph Join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas eve,
Santa came to say; Rudolph, with your nose so bright, Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight? Then how the Reindeer loved him As they shouted out with glee Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, You’ll go down in history!

Holiday Songs Joy to the World Joy to the World , the Lord is come! Let earth receive her King; Let every heart prepare Him room, And Heaven and nature sing, And Heaven and nature sing, And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing. Joy to the World, the Savior reigns! Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy. No more let sins and sorrows grow, Nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found, Far as, far as, the curse is found. He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, And wonders of His love, And wonders, wonders, of His love.
Away in a Manger Away in a manger, No crib for a bed, The little Lord Jesus Laid down His sweet head, The stars in the bright sky Looked down where He lay, The little Lord Jesus Asleep on the hay.
The cattle are lowing, the poor Baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes.
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask Thee to stay Close by me forever and love me, I pray!
I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky, And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh.
Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, And take us to heaven, to live with Thee there.

Holiday Songs Winter Wonderland Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening, A beautiful sight, We’re happy tonight. Walking in a winter wonderland.
Later on, we’ll conspire, As we dream by the fire To face unafraid, The plans that we’ve made, Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird, Here to stay is a new bird He sings a love song, As we go along, Walking in a winter wonderland.
In the meadow we can build a snowman, And pretend that he’s a circus clown We’ll have lots of fun with mister snowman, Until the other kiddies knock him down.
In the meadow we can build a snowman, Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
When it snows, ain’t is thrilling, Though your nose gets a chilling We’ll frolic and play, the Eskimo way, Walking in a winder wonderland
He’ll say: Are you married? We’ll say: No man, But you can do the job When you’re in town.

Holiday Songs We Three Kings of Orient Are Silent Night We three kings of Orient are, bearing gifts we traverse afar, Field and fountain, moor and mountain, Following yonder Star.
Frankincense to offer have I Incense owns a Deity nigh; Prayer and praising, all men raising, Worship Him, God on High.
Chorus: O, star of wonder, star of night, Star with royal beauty bright, Westward leading, still proceeding, Guide us to thy perfect light.
Chorus
Born a babe on Bethlehem’s plain; Gold we bring to crown Him again; King forever, ceasing never, Over us all to reign. Chorus
Myrrh is mine; it’s bitter perfume Breathes a life of gathering gloom; Sorrow, sighing, bleeding, dying, Seal’d in the stone-cold tomb. Chorus Glorious now behold Him arise, King and God and sacrifice, Heavens sings, “Hallelujah!” “Hallelujah!” Earth replies. Chorus
Happy Holidays!
Silent night, holy night, All is calm, all is bright. Round yon virgin mother and child, Holy infant, so tender and mild. Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace. Silent night, holy night, Shepherds quake, at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar, Heavenly hosts sing Hallelujah. Christ the Saviour is born, Christ the Saviour is born. Silent night, holy night, Son of God, loves pure light. Radiant beams from thy holy face, With the dawn of redeeming grace. Jesus, Lord, at thy birth, Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.

Main Courses Holiday Cranberry Chicken 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil 1 can (398ml.) whole berry Cranberry sauce ½ cup Catalina salad dressing 1 pkg. Onion soup mix
Salmon Baked in Champagne 6 fresh Salmon steaks, 1” thick salt and freshly ground pepper ¼ cup butter, cut into small pieces 1 ½ cups dry champagne ½ cup whipping cream
In large frypan or in 2 batches, brown chicken in oil until juices run clear. In bowl, mix cranberry sauce, salad dressing and onion soup mix. Arrange chicken in a large casserole dish. Pour sauce evenly over chicken to cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until bubbly.
Place steaks in a buttered, shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Dot with butter. Pour champagne over fish. Cook in pre-heated oven (350 degrees) for 20 minutes. Baste the fish frequently with pan juices. Keep a serving dish warm on the stove. When the fish is just tender, remove it carefully to the serving dish. Cover and keep hot. Pour pan juices into a small saucepan. Bring to boiling point and cook until reduced to about one half. Reduce the heat and stir in cream. Simmer until the cream is just heated through. Do not boil! Pour sauce over fish and serve immediately. Great with new potatoes and fresh green peas.
