Locals net U12 field lacrosse championship Snow cancelled the semifinals and finals but not the spirit of the provincial field lacrosse championships last weekend in Burnaby. And thanks to a 2-1 round-robin record, Richmond's under-12 team qualified for the semifinals and ultimately earned the

bronze medal as third-place finishers. The medals were awarded based on points after the roundrobin. Richmond opened with a 9-5 win over a strong Nanaimo team on Saturday morning before losing a hard-fought battle 10-5 to
