NEW SHOCKWAVE PAIN THERAPY
3
How does it work ? SHOCKWAVE® uses a high energy acoustic wave which is able to penetrate the underlying tissue that is dysfunctional and implicated in the cause of the pain. This in result stimulates the injured tissue to produce healing factors that the body discontinued due to the chronic nature of the problem. Essentially the body begins the healing process again. SHOCKWAVE uses a hand held probe to focus the SHOCKWAVES into the area of the affected tissue to initiate a physiological response. This in turn will: 1. REVERSE INFLAMMATION 2. DECREASE PAIN 3. ALLOW THE AREA TO HEAL ACCORDINGLY 4. RESTORE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE AREA Extended 5. BREAK DOWN SCAR TISSUE AND CALCIFIED TISSUE
Health Coverage is Provided through BLUE CROSS, GREAT WEST, SUN LIFE, MANU LIFE. RCMP / Veteran Affair and ICBC Coverage is Available.
The treatment has been proven to be so effective that only 3-5 treatments are necessary. The exact number of treatments can be determined by our healthcare practioners based on the history you provide us during your FREE consultation. This is necessary to determine if you are in fact an appropriate candidate for the procedure.
