Coeliac Disease is a disease of the small intestine caused by extreme sensitivity to a group of proteins collectively called gluten that is found in wheat, barley, rye and oats. Enzyme preparations are useful to help digest away unknown or accidental contamination in the food. They are particularly helpful when a patient dines out. The Future and the Past Lives here in Cloverdale – Surrey! It is my honour to come on board with the Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce as the new president. I have been a resident of Surrey for over 50 years and there’s never been a more exciting time than now in this fast growing historic area. With the population of the Cloverdale District more than doubling in the past 10 years, it is a fantastic time to get involved in various aspects of the community. The Chamber is extremely proud of the recent opening of the Fraser Valley Heritage Rail Car barn and its plans to have an Interurban rail car operating in May of 2013. The Chamber is also an active partner with the Surrey Heritage Society and its plans to open a BC Heritage Transportation Centre in the old Surrey Museum on the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. The Cloverdale Chamber continues to be involved in great special events like the Cloverdale Halloween Costume Parade and the colourful Surrey Santa Parade scheduled for Dec. 2nd.
