HIIT: High Intensity Interval training revs up the fat burning process. The first portion of class is short and intense cardio. Second half is full body strength training to challenge your power and endurance. Jarita's Boot Camp: Come get a killer workout. Different styles and advanced new techniques to work your Booty to the core! Great for all levels, tones and builds. Line Dancing: Challenge the mind and body and have fun. Variety of music. Beginners welcome. Pedal Power: Everyone finishes first in Pedal Power. Strength & Power: A multi functional resistance training class. Great for breaking plateaus in your own program and making strength gains from week to week. SLOW HATHA FLOW WITH CARRIE
A combination of Hatha, Ashtanga, and Power Yoga. A practise of yoga asanas, leading into Phrases of Yoga Poses Woven together with Breath. Emphasis is on proper alignment. All fitness levels are welcome although some experience with yoga is helpful. The instructor will offer options during class in order to keep your personal practice safe and effective. Come and experience the bliss of yoga by Carrie & Lynn.
Along with the presence of mind, this class will focus on body awareness as well as development of the connection between practicing yoga on the mat and practicing the spirit of yoga in everyday life. Restorative yoga is a type of hatha yoga used to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for balancing the body. This class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all ages- particularly those with chronic pain or limitations. Includes yogic breathing, seated and lying postures, guided and silent relaxation, and meditation. Depending on the needs of the participants, variations of standing postures may be taught with chairs or the walls for support where needed. Beginning a yoga practice as a senior or continuing, yoga strengthens bones, reduces aches and pains, boosts immunity, tones organs, improves and helps manage stress.

L’IL DIPPERS (3 - 5 years) Bobbers (Swimkids 1/Seaturtle) The child will be introduced to the water, bobbing and assisted front and back floats. Floaters (Swimkids 2/Salamander / Sunfish) The child will be introduced to front and back floats, front and back glide, and 3 m swim on front and back. Gliders (Swimkids 2/Crocodile) The child will be introduced to side kicking, deepwater, and build endurance for front and back flutter kick.

The Sahali Secondary School “Me to We” program, active for the past five years, engages 100 students in leadership initiatives.
