The Northern Cape AI Camera Campaign concluded successfully, achieving strong participation and positive feedback from the team.

Don't forget to check in with yourself this final stretch. Year-end fatigue often hits hard, and that's okay. Be kind to your mind and recognize the great work you've already done this far. Prioritize clarity over reaction, always lead with compassion for yourself and your colleagues. We'll get through this stretch together!

HQ Fire Drill Highlights Our Commitment to Safety

Although our HQ office is not operational daily and therefore does not conduct fire drills as frequently as our active sites, we recently held a successful fire drill that reinforced the importance of preparedness in the workplace. These exercises are vital in ensuring that all employees know how to respond quickly and safely during an emergency. This initiative is a strong reflection of our core value, #SafetyFirst, as we continue to prioritize the protection of our people, facilities, and operations across all sites.

Silly Season shouldn’t mean Silly Driving

Silly Season Awareness Campaign | 25 November 2025

As the festive season approaches, road activity increases — and so does the need for extra vigilance and safety awareness. On 25 November 2025, we’ll be rolling out our Silly Season Campaign aimed at reminding our drivers to stay alert, focused, and responsible on the road. The campaign will highlight the importance of rest, caution, and smart decision-making during this high-traffic period. Together, let’s keep our roads safe and ensure that everyone gets home for the holidays — because at BML, #SafetyFirst is not just a value, it’s a way of life.

Thought for the Week

“The last mile is where champions are made — not because it’s easy, but because it tests your consistency”
