Corpus Christi Catering 2026
Preparing the sandwiches Another year of Corpus Christi has come and gone in a flash and yet there has been a massive team of volunteers supporting all the various areas to make the event a great success. I would like to take you through the journey that the Happy Catering Team has gone through this year, in order to prepare for and deliver its services in 2026. Father Stephen called a meeting of the Corpus Christi Steering Committee in November 2025 to set the scene, and from that point onwards we were left to make all the necessary arrangements for the catering. In April 2026, I asked for anyone who would like to volunteer to either be part of the Happy Team of Caterers in the Cathedral Centre, or offer to make and donate cakes which we would sell to the public over the two days of Corpus Christi.
