Get involved in Chinese New Year Festival on Sunday 22 February 2026!
We are inviting community performers to bring the celebrations to life. The festival will feature an exciting stage programme, lion dances, market stalls, family activities and much more across Southside District
If you are part of a local group that sings, dances, performs, showcases cultural traditions or see yourself on stage, we want to hear from you. New and returning groups are welcome.
Please email festivals@birminghamhippodrome.com as soon as possible, and no later than Sunday 4 January 2026.
Please include:
• Type of performance(s) Music/Dance/Demonstration/etc
• Length of performance(s)
• Ability to perform multiple times throughout the day
• Any costume changes/breaks needed between performances
• Number of performers (include number of adults and children)
• Performers ages / age range
• Main contact name and phone number
You can email pictures/videos of the performance(s) if you have any.
There are limited slots available to perform on the stage. We will be in touch with all expressing interest to confirm in January 2026.
You will be required to attend a dress rehearsal on Sunday 15 February 2026 due to the large number of performers taking part (timings tbc)

无论是新团队还是往届参与者，都欢迎报名。

• 表演类型（音乐、舞蹈、示范等）
• 表演时长

• 主要联系人姓名和电话
如果有表演的照片或视频，也可通过邮件发送。
舞台表演名额有限。我们将在2026年1月与所有报名的团队联系并确认安排。
由于参与团队众多，所有表演者须参加2026年2月15日星期日的彩排 具体时间待定
