Take a first look at new products, hot picks and seasonal favourites David MacLeod, Brand Manager at Rowan David MacLeod grew up just outside Edinburgh on a working country estate where his father worked. This is when his knowledge of fibre began, growing up working on the estate, involved in animal husbandry and the shearing of sheep. Knitting has always been in his life; his mother, grandmother and great grandmother all knitted, not as a hobby but to make school jumpers or warm woolens to wear while working on the croft farm in the north of Scotland. Joining Rowan in 2008 meant that he ‘completes the circle’; his brother and brother in law are still farmers. Having studied graphic design it was a natural step to design and process management at Rowan and to becoming Brand Manager.
