David Baranowski is October’s lucky winner of the Bingo Bugle’s monthly $100 contest. He picked up his winning copy of the paper at the South Milwaukee Knights of Columbus, where he’s a regular at Monday night bingo. A devoted player for more than 20 years, Baranowski says he almost missed his moment of glory. “I read the paper but didn’t even see my name,” he laughed. “It was my wife, Sheryl, who told me I’d won.” Baranowski is a loyal Bingo Bugle reader and says he especially enjoys the “What’s News in Nevada” column, though he reads the entire paper cover to cover. The Bingo Bugle is saddened to share the passing of Zenaida Artacho Kintziger, a longtime contributor to the paper’s “Poetry Corner.” Zenaida passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Born December 24, 1944, she was known for her kindness, humor, and deep devotion to God. Her thoughtful and heartfelt poems touched many readers, reflecting her faith and love for life. She completed a collection of her poetry and published book “And Tears No More.”
