Anastasia Radetski said “I was shocked” when she found out she was the December Sweepstakes winner. Anastasia currently plays Bingo four times a week. When she started years ago it was only a few times a year, due to work. She plays at Moose 49, American Legion post 416, Saint Francis Lions and Pioneer at the Taj Palace. Her words of wisdom are “Be patient. You can’t always be a winner”. Well Anastasia is a winner in our books at the Bingo Bugle figuratively and literally. She supports the local bingo halls and in turn their charities. Anastasia likes the good food at the local Bingo halls as well as the friends she’s made at Bingo. “Bingo is a fun and relaxing hobby to have”. She reads the horoscopes, likes the Bingo advice and the puzzle page. She makes sure to pick up a copy of the Bingo Bugle every month. Richard “Mr. Lucky” Lentz presented Anastasia with her ceremonial check. Mr. Lucky got his name from his father when he was born on Friday the 13th.

Danish Brotherhood Bingo Returns
The Kenosha Danish Brotherhood Lodge #14 is starting up Bingo again the first and third Fridays of the month. They had sold out crowds when covid-19 stopped the world, then on August 24th 2020 they lost their Building due to arson from the Kenosha riots. It has been over three long years, but they were able to purchase a new property. The Cortese’s Banquet Hall and Filomena’s Restaurant at 1300 Sheridan Rd. Kenosha WI 53140. This is a beautiful large restaurant and banquet facility on the northeast side of Kenosha with plenty of parking. February 2nd 2024 is their first Bingo at the new home. If you’re familiar with the Danish Brotherhood Bingo’s It is “Not Your Normal Grandma’s Bingo” and they advertise it as such. There is no shushing anyone for talking during Bingo in fact they encourage it. Anything short of swearing. It’s a social gathering with friends. (continued on page 3)
