Wisconsin Edition Bingo Halls Mary Jane the Sweepstakes Winner Loves Bingo Serving Fish At American Legion Post 416 In Greendale, WI Mary Jane Lampe has Delish!!! been playing Bingo for 15 years or more. There was a time in the past when she played at American Legion Post 416 and at Wisconsin Seniors Bingo. Seniors no longer has Bingo so now she plays exclusively at American Legion Post 416 at 6351 W. Grange Ave. in Greendale, Wisconsin. They play Bingo at 6:00 PM on Sundays (doors open at 5:00 PM) and 9:45 AM on Tuesdays (doors open around 8:45 AM). We asked Mary Jane what keeps her coming back to American Legion Post 416. “The people here run a very good game. The volunteers and players at this hall are very friendly.” Mary Jane used to play Bingo at different places with her late sister in law. Her sister in law actually got her started playing Bingo. They were talking to a mutual friend named Karen who was a veteran and a member of American Legion Post 416. Karen told them that it would be a good idea to come play Bingo at the Post because they play on Sunday evenings and Tuesday mornings. Well, that was right up Mary Jane’s alley. She like many others, prefers not to drive at night. Morning Bingo works out great. Mary Jane told us about the advantages of playing at Post 416. “You can normally sit in the same area for Bingo, that guarantees you’ll be close to your friends.” Who doesn’t like to be near their friends? “You don’t win all the time, but its the anticipation that keeps the excitement high, especially when you’re one

Playing benefits the veterans and that’s always a big win!” Bingo is good for you physically and mentally. “Bingo really keeps you going, you need enjoyment in your life and you can have some Bingo fun at the same time.” Her winnings will go to more Bingo and she reads the Bingo Bugle every month, cover to cover. We had a great time talking to Clifford Stark and Rolando Flores too. They are American Legion 416 Bingo guys. They help run the show and do the necessary duties behind the scenes. Sometimes we forget to realize that they continue to give of themselves as volunteers to the community after they finish their military service. Their habit of sacrificing for others, becomes their way of life. Now that we know about playing Bingo at American Legion Post 416 it is time to take full advantage of it. Try Sunday evening or Tuesday morning Bingo. Great choices for everyone. You’ll be glad you did!
