Jesus Christ. The Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi have been instrumental in education in the local area as well as many locations throughout the country. St. Mary’s Academy girls High School on South Lake Drive in Milwaukee was run by these Sisters. They also educated children suffering from intellectual challenges. Now, many of their members are advancing in age and require specialized care. They surely deserve help after dedicating their entire lives to helping others and living an austere life according to their vows of poverty, chastity and obediance. The KC’s respects human life and so supports other pro-life organizations such a Lifes Connection and Carenet Milwaukee. The Knights of Columbus recognizes 4 watchwords
in their mission and vision. They are: Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Their patriotic involvement is helping veterans organizations. The South Milwaukee American Legion Post #27 was also on the list of donation recipients. Rember, any time you play at a charity Bingo Hall you participate in helping the less fortunate while keeping your own mind active and provide a social outlet for your fellow Bingo Players and friends. Check Pages 6 and 7 of this Bingo Bugle for the Players Guide where you can find a Bingo Game any day of the week. The Knights of Columbus ad is on Page 7, they would love to welcome you to their Bingo. They just put their money where their mouth is to the tune of $78,750.00 That’s great in our book.
