INGREDIENTS 2 albacore tuna steaks 1 clove garlic, grated 1 T. lemon juice 1/4 C. soy sauce
1 T. sesame seeds 1-2 T. sesame oil 1 scallion, chopped
INSTRUCTIONS 1. Make the marinade, mix together all ingredients except the tuna steaks in a medium bowl. 2. Rinse the tuna steaks with water, pat dry and season with salt & pepper on both sides.
3. Add tuna to the marinade, making sure to coat all sides. 4. Marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator, turning once. (TIP: don’t marinate too long or the acid in the lemon juice will start to “cook” the tuna). 5. Heat your grill to medium-high heat and oil it. 6. Grill tuna steaks for 3 minutes each side and serve.
