OUR TIPS
CAPTAIN JAMES SAYS: Downs is a lot less steep than Avocado, and Ivy drops you right at the Walmart center entrance.
2 HARBOR CRUISE One of our favorite rides — and the beachy alternate is even better. DISTANCE about 8–9 miles

CAPTAIN JAMES SAYS: Don't forget to wave at the boats! SCENIC ALTERNATE Left on Surfrider Way → right on The Strand → follow to Breakwater Way → back to Pacific → left to the Harbor.
3 COAST HIGHWAY CRUISE Our favorite kind of destination: the ride itself. DISTANCE about 12 miles+

Cruise through South Oceanside.

Continue into Carlsbad.
