On the flip side we love waking up to the sight of the beautiful Pacific Ocean and looking out to see the islands.
Some of the best sleep we’ve ever had. We keep the sliding door open so we can hear the waves, nature’s lullaby.

WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE THIS PLACE?
It breaks our hearts to sell this home. Our children have decided to move to Tennessee to give their babies a different kind of life, and since we’ll be spending more time there with them, we’ve made the difficult decision to let go of this beautiful place.
WHAT MADE YOU FALL IN LOVE WILL MANDALAY BEACH?
We first discovered Mandalay Beach during a Mother’s Day weekend spent with our grandchildren. After just a couple of days walking that beach, watching the kids play in the sand, and soaking in the sunsets, we absolutely fell in love. It was peaceful, beautiful, and felt like the kind of place where family memories are made. DID YOU ENJOY
THE AREA?
This home is in the perfect location. It sits directly on the beach with an unobstructed view, and it’s just minutes from everything you could want— restaurants, shopping, comedy shows, family activities at The
Collection, and the Channel Islands Harbor with its boats, markets, events, shops, and endless summer activities.
ANY PARTICULAR MEMORIES OR EXPERIENCES THAT STAND OUT TO YOU?
One of our absolute favorite features is the open living room, with its fireplace and the huge ocean-facing window. Opening that window and taking in the ocean breeze while watching the sunset became our nightly ritual. The newly renovated balcony became our peaceful escape—coffee in the morning, wine in the evening, and the sound of waves all day long. It truly is magical.
WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST?
This home has been lovingly remodeled, carefully cared for, and truly enjoyed. It is gorgeous, cozy, welcoming, and perfectly positioned on one of the most peaceful stretches of Mandalay Beach. We hope the next owners will love it as much as we have, and that they will feel the same joy every time they watch the sun dip into the ocean from the living room or the balcony.
