The Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens is pleased to announce the launch of our inaugural Rooted in Community awards program.
We invite organizations passionate about making a difference in their communities to apply. Whether you’re working on grassroots beautification projects, community gardens, pollinator initiatives, sustainability efforts, edible gardens addressing food insecurity, or therapeutic horticulture, this program is for you!
Award recipients will receive $500 to kick-start a new project or support an ongoing initiative. Rooted in Community connects participants to a network of like-minded changemakers across Birmingham, providing learning opportunities and fostering civic pride.
