OF SAN FRANCISCO
VOLUNTEERS PLAY A KEY ROLE IN SUPPORTING OUR YOUTH ACROSS OUR CLUBS AND CAMP MENDOCINO. Due to the pandemic, our volunteer program remained virtual from August 2021 through November 2021. Opportunities focused on supporting Teen Services with mock interviews, college prep support, and career exposures. As we relaunched our in-person volunteer program, we placed even greater emphasis on safety and high-quality volunteer experiences. We have provided training and resources for staff to ensure a quality experience for Clubs, youth, and volunteers.

NEXTGEN LEADERSHIP COUNCIL NextGen is BGCSF’s young professionals organization. The group fundraises, volunteers, and supports our annual events including Kids Night Out. NextGen members typically raise approximately $200K annually.
