What is External Affairs? • External Affairs comprises the outwardfacing offices of our school. • Admissions • Institutional Advancement • Marketing and Communications
• These offices promote Fenwick to: • Prospective students and families • Current parents and families • Alumni, benefactors, and other supporters • Local news media and the public
What does an intern do? • You will work under the direction of: • Mr. Driscoll, Director of Admissions • Mr. Vigneron, Director of Institutional Advancement • Mrs. Vigneron, Director of Marketing and Communications
• You will learn skills in: • Student recruitment/enrollment management • Event planning and execution • Donor relations and fundraising • Print and social media content and strategy
How does this actually work? • You will work on the internship during one of your free blocks. • The exact schedule is set by the internship directors. • There will be some requirements outside of regular school hours. • You will earn 1 credit on your transcript. • You will earn valuable professional experience.
How do I learn more and apply? • Come to an info session next Thursday, October 1 during Fenwick Connect. • The application process will be fully outlined at that time. • Any questions that you may have can be asked and answered then. • We are excited to launch this new initiative with and for you!
