A bold, gripping drama—blending sharp comedy and explosive physical theatre—that follows a new female worker’s first swing as serious allegations shake the site. A piercing examination of power and silence in Australia’s resource sector, this uniquely Western Australian story is confronting, unexpectedly funny, and deeply personal. UNDERNEATH/OVERLOOKED TOURING EXHIBITION
Underneath/Overlooked invites audiences to take a closer look at the terrazzo surfaces we walk over every day, exploring their patterns, textures and stories. Developed by Penny Bovell and Gabby Howlett, and touring with ART ON THE MOVE. Open until 04 October 2026, at Platform Gallery, Beverley Station Arts. Viewing times are Thursday – Sunday, from 9.30am–4.00pm.

BEVERLEY AG MUSEUM
The Ag Museum at Avondale Farm is open to the public every 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month, from 8.30am to 2.30pm. Entry is free. If you require an alternative viewing day for a better experience, please ring John on 9646 0768.

2026 BEVERLEY SHOW INFORMATION
Gates open at 9.30am on Saturday 22 August, and fireworks start at 6.30pm. Be sure to secure your pets before the fireworks start.
$100 FUEL REBATE
If you hold a current WA Drivers Licence or Learners Permit, you can now claim the WA State Government Fuel Support Payment. You can claim either using the Service WA app or by completing a paper form and posting it along with a photocopy of both the front and back of your driver’s licence/learners permit and a photocopy of an Australian bank statement in your name. Both documents need to show your current residential address. Paper forms are available at the Beverley CRC or from the Shire of Beverley. If you want to claim using the Services WA App and you need help to do this, you can book an appointment with us. Applications close 31 December 2026.

Church Notices ANGLICAN PARISH OF BEVERLEY-BROOKTON
Bishop Kate will visit the Parish of Beverely-Brookton when she will preside, preach, baptise and confirm at the single service at a 10.00am at St Mark’s Church, Brookton on Sunday 23 August. A “bring and share” lunch will follow. Ss Priscilla and Aquila are the patron saints of marriage. All couples are invited to attend a service on the 23 August, giving thanks for their married life. There will be no service at St Mary’s Church, Beverley. Fifth Sunday in the month: the combined Anglican Churches’ service will take place at St Mary’s Church, Beverley on Sunday 30 August at 10.00am with a “bring and share” lunch to follow. The service will commemorate “The Martyrs of New Guinea”.
