The Prep Program Preparation for Life The PREP Program is designed for youth ages 13-16 and will focus on developing core skills to increase independence and prepare learners for activities of daily living. This program will follow an interdisciplinary curriculum focused on: Skills to take care of one’s self (i.e. Hygiene/personal care and basic cooking skills) Caring for one’s environment (i.e. including, laundry and cleaning skills) Self-advocacy and organizational skills Communication skills Social skills Independence and leisure skills The Prep team includes ABA clinicians and Occupational Therapy Assistants. Consultation and supervision is provided by an Occupational Therapist, a Speech and Language Pathologist and a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst.
