FELTON ’23, M.ED. ’25
Leading from the Sidelines at 23
At just 23 years old, Riley Felton was named head coach of Bethany’s women’s volleyball program, becoming one of the youngest head coaches in the conference.Aformer team captain and championship-winning athlete, she transitioned quickly from player to leader. Riley credits Bethany’s close-knit community and faculty mentorship for shaping her confidence, leadership style, and ability to guide others. Today, she’s leading the next generation with the same passion that defined her time as a student-athlete.

JOSEPH GRESCHNER ’13
From Bethany to the Operating Room
Joseph Greschner built the foundation for his medical career at Bethany before going on to advanced training in podiatry, surgery, and orthopedics. Today, he is the owner of Greschner Foot & Ankle Specialists, providing care to patients across West Virginia. He credits Bethany not only for preparing him academically, but for the relationships and experiences that shaped his discipline and long-term success. Even now, he stays closely connected to the Bethany community that helped launch his career.

OLIVIAZINN ’24
On Air Before Graduation
Just weeks after graduating, Olivia Zinn stepped into her role as a morning anchor and reporter at WTOV9, co-anchoring “News9 Sunrise.” Her career started before she even received her diploma, balancing nearly 30 hours a week in the newsroom while still a student at Bethany.As a communications and Spanish double major, she credits the College’s flexibility and close faculty relationships for helping her build the skills and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced industry. For Olivia, getting real-world experience early made all the difference.
Nate Marko turned his passion for baseball into a career as a hitting coach at Youngstown State University.As a student-athlete at Bethany, he balanced academics, athletics, and leadership opportunities that prepared him for the demands of coaching. He credits hands-on experiences, mentorship, and the College’s close-knit environment for helping him develop the discipline and leadership skills he now brings to his players every day. For Nate, Bethany was where his passion found direction.
