When we began the Business Achievement Award over fourteen years ago, we always knew that we needed to recognize our top leaders for their support of our community, their discipline to grow and shape their respective businesses, their engagement and support with/from their family and friends and their wisdom. Lead With Decisiveness...* The two areas that seem to be missing - their commitment to their families and friends and their humility. I have had the honor of contacting each of the past recipients and letting them know that they were being honored. They all have the same reaction: “No, I don’t deserve the award./My children and/ or siblings are involved in the business and they deserve recognition, too./Why me?” Please join us as we honor Gary, his sons, family, and partners and all of the people who have helped him make Allen Distribution successful. Once again the Carlisle Area Chamber of Commerce will be traveling to China. Travelers will be able to choose between two trips which are scheduled for the same dates. The trip cost is based on double occupancy and includes transportation to/from Dulles, international and domestic air, luxury 4 – 5 star hotels, three meals per day, bus transportation within China, all admissions as indicated on the itinerary, and English speaking guides.

Robyn Dingle is the Chamber’s new part-time Financial Coordinator. Robyn handles all bookkeeping, billing, and payroll. Prior to joining the Chamber staff, Robyn owned 2nd Time Around which gave her a passion for growing the Carlisle business community.
