In these unprecedented times, our community persevered.
ADD IMAGE This eight-week philanthropic competition, hosted by Best Buddies in Palm Beach, celebrates local professionals and community leaders throughout the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast area who have been nominated as “Champions” to raise funds and increase awareness for the mission of Best Buddies. The highlight of the evening is when the candidate who has raised the most donations — surpassing all rivals in the competition — is awarded the “2020 Best Buddies Champion of the Year” title. Proceeds from the Gala will go directly to Best Buddies in Palm Beach to create more friendships, support integrated employment, develop leadership opportunities, and open new programs for thousands of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast communities. We could not do this without our Champions, Campaign Managers, and you. Thank you!
Dear Friends We are grateful that you are attending this year’s virtual event for the Best Buddies Champion of the Year Gala in Palm Beach. Though we are not together physically, friendship is not cancelled! This year’s celebration still features a high energy auction by Joe Girvan and an inspiring message of friendship and social inclusion brought to you by our featured Buddy Pair, Christina and Anna. I extend a special thank you tonight to all of our sponsors, advisory board members, and committee members who have helped make this event an extraordinary success. All of our Champions and Campaign Managers have demonstrated the true spirit of giving and their belief in the Best Buddies’ mission through their generous support in these challenging times! On behalf of our Buddies and families impacted annually by Best Buddies in
